seek protection via the insurances carried by the aircraft operator.
These insurances as well as insurances specific to the interests of the
financial institutions will be discussed. Common coverages available to
the financial institutions currently include: Residual Value Insurance,
Contingent Hull & Liability Insurance and Repossessed Hull &
Liability Insurance. Beyond these areas, in today's ultra competitive
aviation insurance market, insurers are willing to discuss Political
Risk exposures to the financial institutions as well as potential risks
relating to loss of revenue resulting from loss or damage of physical
asset - beyond actual cost of repair/replacement.
